Nook was recently invited to participate in
The Wassaic Project, a weekend-long multi-disciplinary arts festival in Wassaic, NY—about 2-hours north of the city. At the festival, there will be a curated store featuring the work of selected artisans and designers from the New York area. Unfortunately, due to several factors including having
just launched and not having enough time to get ready (the festival is next weekend), I had to turn down the offer. It sounds like a great opportunity to get Nook's name out there, as well as a chance to meet other artists and designers from the area. I definitely want to be a part of this—as well as other arts and crafts festivals—hopefully by next year.
